Intra-Squad Radios (ISR)

ISR's were created to function exactly like the popular FRS low power radios.  The contract radios being used are slightly modified versions of the ICOM  4008-A consumer radio.  The military version is designated 4008-M.   Functionally they are almost identical, except for the frequency reassignment.   Are 1/2 watt, have CTCSS capability and the same size as the consumer versions, but use a more rugged case.
